Propane autogas is an alternative vehicle fuel that substantially reduces harmful emissions, costs less per gallon than gasoline or diesel, and is almost entirely produced in America. Propane autogas is the third most widely used vehicle fuel in the world, behind only gasoline and diesel. There are over 18 million propane autogas vehicles on the road worldwide.
Propane autogas costs an average of $1.50 per gallon less than gasoline. It reduces emissions of harmful pollutants by approximately 30% compared to gasoline. Approximately 98% of propane autogas is produced in America and there is abundant supply from gas reserves such as the Barnett Shale and other areas. Both OEM vehicles and bi-fuel autogas conversions are availaible for fleets.
